0001886: Unable to run command line "-compile", isstudio never opens

We have tried running all possible combinations of command line arguments (absolute, relative etc) none of which works.
isstudio.exe process is listed briefly when we start command line
"isstudio.exe -compile something.Setup.Build.Sign.iss"
but nothing happens, it's like isstudio opened and closed in same time.
There are no system events related to isstudio process.
Strangely invalid command line arguments are correctly processed and there is an error message in this case.

From time to time we check new version shall it work with current project setup.
One of issues is following:
When using newer version of isstudio we are unable to see the progress of [PreCompile] and [PostCompile] batch commands execution.
If we click on application or wait little isstudio is goes white and is marked as Not Responding App (user can force the close of app in this moment).
We have long pre process commands (ie: perfroming clean+build of project) .

This was working just fine on version 2.1.0.20, and think all version after this one were having above issue.
I guess we will revert back to above version since this may produce strange behavior in our build environment.

In version 2.3.0 if a script was included the PreCompile was ran
eg
#include "Example - Install.iss"

In version 2.5.1 PreCompile appears to be skipped

Currently, if you set something to a non-default value and then change it back, it doesn't get removed from your script which can add to clutter and, potentially, cause you to miss out on new and improved default options added to Inno Setup.

I'm requesting a feature that would scan your script for default options and remove them. This results in a script that you can be sure only reflects your project-specific options, and the rest are implicitly using Inno's default values.

Using version 2.5.1 (Is this system used any more? Versions here stopped at 2.2.2!) I would class this as a COSMETIC issue.

ISS is using a different color for the LAST LETTER of #defined values. The last letter is not affected when it is the closing brace of a symbol (e.g. "{#MyPath}"). Image attached.

Don't read (in the dialogues) the directives if they have spaces ?!
For example:
[Setup]
AppName=Name07 < work/view in "Setup Options - Application Details"
AppName =Name07 < NOT work/view in "Setup Options - Application Details"
AppName=Name07 < NOT work/view in "Setup Options - Application Details"

With a file entry it supports a exclude section. I see it on the advanced tab but can’t do anything with it.

I manually typed it and even that wouldn’t show in the window.

Please advise.

I get an invalid external when I compile with the next statement

When I remove the spaces in the directory name there are no errors

When searching for text in the editor, it would be interesting to be able to restart the search from the beginning of the document after the last occurrence found (Wrap around).

I have attached a picture with this feature that is implemented within the Notepad++ program.

I have opened an included file using the new open feature for and included file. I then set breakpoints in a function in that included file, when I go back to the main file and run the debugger none of the breakpoints I added are honored.

When I edit it it looses one set of " " around the ValueData and won't compile. I have to add it in the text editor again.

The drop lists do not support the 32-bit and 64-bit deriatives.

Eg:

hklm32
hklm64

etc ..

I had to add them manually.

Also, it would be nice for the check functions to include IsWin64 automatically in the drop list to choose from.

I remmed out some lines:

//[PreCompile]

But they still compile. I have to cut the lines out of the script. Event if I use ; as the prefix.

The precompile section is at the bottom of the script, after the code section.
